DIAL YOUR OWN (DYO)

This class is for any racer that wants to try and be consistent throughout the week.
Being the fastest doesnt mean you win.
You will turn in a time slip day 1 and that will be your “dial in” for the rest of the week
Whoever has the smallest deviation over all 4 days is the winner.
In the event of a tie the car with faster E.T. average will be the winner
CLASS SUBJECT TO SPLIT AND MINOR RULE CHANGES

GENERAL EVENT RULES

You can camp at tracks or stay in an RV that someone else drives for you so long as the RV is not a support vehicle.
If you do plan on having an RV follow along you must let Jared or Sharon know beforehand and you will be given special instructions for the rv.
All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable

You must put sponsor stickers on the car and have them visible for the entire event.

RULES FOR ALL CLASSES
Must have all functioning lights (headlights taillights turn signals, brakes) and functioning horn.

All Racers must wear a helmet regardless of ET or speed. No EXCEPTIONS

All cars and racers must meet NHRA safety requirements for the speed they are running.

All racers must posess a valid drivers license

All cars must be registered and insured with current and up to date tags

All cars must have a functioning cooling and charging system.

All racers must bring everything they need with them in their cars or trailer towed behind the race car at all times except parts bought as needed during the event.

No SUPPORT VEHICLES. The one exception is fuel. Fuel can be hauled by someone else but may only be transfered at a fuel station or race track. Or you may pre stage fuel but that is up to you to arrange

Trailers must be single axle trailers. If you have something else that is dual axle and fits the event style you must get approval from Jared beforehand.
Trailer will not be used for cooling, charging, fueling, or oiling the car while being towed.

Cars must make the drive to each track under their own power. If there is a safety issue and you need to be towed
for safety then you must return to the point you got towed from and resume your drive. If this happens you need
to contact Jared or Sharon immediately.

There is no set route that racers must follow. If you want to try bombing down the interstate at 80mph in the race car you are more than welcome to try.
You must hit all checkpoints and provide pictures of each checkpoint when you turn in your timeslips each day.

Only registered racers and their co-pilot may drive the routes in the car. If your co-pilot is a child or physically
unable to help with the car you may designate one other racer or co pilot to help you on a daily basis.
Any racer or co-pilot may help with unscheduled or emergency repairs at any time but they cannot be your pit crew.
Tuning will be the exception. Anybody can tune any car at any point in time including remote tunes.

Cackalacky cruisers can help one racer one time per event for unscheduled repairs. Cruisers may not help with daily changeover.

Must have drag tires for all classes except DYO. If you are on a regular street tire that is 200 treadwear or more you will have to run out of the groove.

We will be working mostly on the honor system and with self policing from other racers. If you want to call out another racer for “cheating”
you will be required to put up a 100 dollar bill. If the racer did cheat you will get your money back. If they did not that 100 dollars go to the accused racer.
